I am so very happy this is a long weekend.  I need the down time.  This has been a good week and the step kids are not coming this weekend so that helps me so much!  I am off of work on Friday and  I plan to sleep in and putter around the house.  Hubby and I are not sure what we will do on Saturday.  Do we want to fight the crowds to watch the same fireworks that we have seen for the last up-teen years?  Maybe not.  I am perfectly happy staying home in the comfort and watching them on TV.   All of the noise make Anna a little uneasy – she will be due for some benedryl that night.

Life with hubby and myself is going smooth.  I am continually working on my attitude.  Only I can fix me and I can only fix me.  I choose to look at the positive aspects not the negative where doubt creeps around.  My depression has improved but that is a battle that is never over. 

I made out plane reservations for Okahoma City in October.   We are going to the UCO homecoming.
