When you call me to tell me you “smoothed” things over with SD2? WTF?
She felt I “yelled” at her but could not remember when and one time when she got her feelings hurt and felt my apology was not sincere. She is freakin’ 13 years old. She does not run the show.
She has been told for 12 solid months that there is nothing to do in Oklahoma. My family and friends have gone way out of their way to make you feel welcome and to try to come up with “things” for you to do. She called my cousins “redneck” (yes they are but that is not the issue right now) and I did not say a word. She made me late on more than one occasion and yes that irks me.
DO NOT call me at work on my first day back when I have already told you my boss is “in a mood” and tell me how you smoothed over my errors with SD2. I don’t give a flying bicycle how she feels. Tell me how I used my only vacation of the year to spend with them to have them come back and slap it in my face.
I am so mad I could spit nail. This is the point where you tell me I am wrong blah blah blah.
Ahh, welcome back to reality.

Wow! You know, I keep hoping/praying that the SDs grow up a little big (along with Hubby). You are in my prayers.

I feel your pain. Or, maybe my mom does? She’s got two step-kids that have made her life crazy. Luckily, they’re both adults now and have been encouraged to get their own place. Good luck to you!

Teenagers whine about EVERYTHING even when they’re having fun. That opportunist b*tch probably is blowing things way out of proportion because she knows your attitude towards her kids is much more unselfish than her own. She is pathetic – just laugh at her!
